$75 MILLION

RAISED SINCE 2010

GEARING UP FOR YEAR 15

For 15 years, the DCC has united Miami Dolphins fans and the South Florida community in fighting cancer, raising over $75 million to fund life-saving research and becoming the #1 fundraising event in the NFL in that time. As we look to the future, we are excited to transition back to “Dolphins Cancer Challenge,” which resonates with our incredible community of cancer fighters and honors the legacy of this movement. We are committed to the year-round fight against cancer, furthering our impact, and building on the success of the DCC for years to come.

Join the Miami Dolphins in celebrating DCC XV on February 22, 2025 at Hard Rock Stadium.
Registration opens August 5th at 12pm ET.

DCC XIV BREAKS RECORDS

At DCC’s signature event, the Miami Dolphins join forces with the South Florida community for its annual ride, walk or run event, raising funds for innovative cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. For the 14th edition, participants biked 13, 39, 54 or 99 miles – distances that represent the jersey numbers of Dolphins Pro Football Hall of Famers – or ran or walked the 5K, with the shared purpose of challenging cancer. This year’s event was held on Saturday, February 24 at Hard Rock Stadium.

As the NFL's largest fundraising event, DCC XIV, which was held on February 24, 2024, united a record-breaking 6,702 participants and raised over $12 million. The figure surpassed the 2023 record of $10.5 million raised and fulfilled the organization's $75 million commitment to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, made back in November 2020. The original goal was to meet that $75 million benchmark by 2026, but the Dolphins and DCC participants beat that goal by two full years.

DCC XIV brought together 370 organizations, 6,702 participants, and more than 20 Dolphins players joined by head coach Mike McDaniel. Players participated in a variety of ways, from cycling in the different bike rides to walking/running the 5K to greeting participants at the finish line and handing out medals. Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino and linebacker Zach Thomas joined more than 25 Dolphins alumni. 15 executives including Chairman of the Board/Managing General Partner Stephen M. Ross and Vice Chairman, President and CEO Tom Garfinkel led the team including over 200 front office staff.
